Really enjoying this one so far. It immediately captured my attention & love the imagery/descriptions!

Got a little over 20% into it and had to mark it as DNF — it was just was not good. Second book by this author I have DNF so this will be my last.

I’m enjoying this so far but some of the things aren’t realistic/accurate. Her ex couldn’t have gotten her grandma’s silver because she owned that before being married to him. Also, there is NO WAY the Dad would’ve put the land in their name, it would’ve been in just hers to protect it from just this thing.

I am bored, I hope it picks up.

The book started out strong but I quickly found myself annoyed with Nolan’s chapters, especially when I listened on audio. There was too much focus on physical attraction & the romance felt too instant & didn’t have substance, so Nolan’s his inner dialogue is unfortunately giving pervy to me. I love Harriet & can relate to her in ways & the cats are everything but this one overall felt choppy & underdeveloped.
