Started on the plane back, not bad

I take back whatever I said before (but only half of the sentiments) because the story got a lot spicer at the end.. I guess it's setting up its pacing for the series?
Still some aspects about the FL that I don't prefer, but will get through the book first!

I don't like the aspect of FLs always being the "broken one" and sacrificing themselves for the ML

I feel like certain specific details are not necessary? The more graphic ones? It's like neither here nor there but I guess it's marginally relevant... Will try to complete this book soon after delaying for a long while

I went through 3 sections I liked. Hurhur.
Other than that, it got a bit too long to get to a good section, I think the start of the book was too dragged out 🤔

I'm not a fan of authors that replace common phrases and words for their world-building. I'm not at the stage where I completely hate it though, so I think I'll be able to get through this book and hopefully the next one in the series after this.

Example:
"God, why did I do that?" would be "Creators, why did I do that?" in the book...

I’m done. Glad to have read the book. Would like to think more and pen down more things after. Gr8 book and would recommend if one is able to get through it.
But also, I read with a craving and hunger I feel it made more intense. So I read with the fuel that it gave more of, which made it more fun and intense to read. Love it.

I like this book so far!!! I love that it gives me space and time to think and recall things that I’ve thought about before too.

It was quite a nice book to read. Easy to get in and out of, which is a blessing while doing school.

Longest time I’ve spent reading in a while… even though I also do know that I should be reading my pre-readings for my modules.
Anyway, author loves the twists. So many twists. Not sure if it’s needed but they exist.

I’m glad the series is enabling me to read again. Although reading while schooling and having other materials is tough, although I was warned and I knew it would come.
Also, the author feels like they have an allergy to using the same words and replaces basic ones for some more…. cringe ones…
