I could still sum this book up into a paragraph and most of it would be about the town

at this point I’m more invested in the actual town than the characters or the relationship because we’ve gotten no progression at all

Not sure I’m going to love this bc it’s not gripping me but I’ll give it some time

I should be sleeping but I love these two

so far, this might be my favorite out of all of them

i haven't moved in like two hours, i'm addicted

so many things happen in the first two chapters I am so lost

still honestly liking this one, though it is going in circles a little bit

Honestly I’m enjoying their chemistry so far, and the buildup. Apparently there’s a fwb plot in here though so we’ll see how I feel when that comes in, but so far so good

officially got to the toxic lesbian vampires part of the toxic lesbian vampires book

still struggling to see a true romance here that’s more than attraction and the “soulmate” thing

there hasn’t been any actual romance yet

this reads fast, like very fast but I feel like simultaneously nothing at all has happened and the relationship has progressed too fast already

so this is fantasy, not horror, and it has now managed to tick me off in 2/3 ways that are difficult to come back from for me personally, not to mention the actual flaws of the novel

Seems like this is going to lean fantasy, which I don’t mind, but I hope we get more character depth than we have so far

trying to get in all the queer fall spooky reads in—this one is not quite my style and a little slow but I’m not disliking it

Honestly I’m having a good time so far—the tropes in this are like when you find the ideal Ao3 fic

New audio read — both the writing and narration style are a little odd imo but it’s okay so far

i find myself forgetting whose pov we're in which is making things difficult but otherwise enjoying this still

i'm enjoying myself for the most part except the obsession with odd words used to describe each other's physical attributes

seriously I am two hours behind today because I stayed up late last night and then picked it back up this morning

reread officially underway—I can already tell the amount of tabs is going to be absurd

4 hours of driving today so I’m making a huge dent in this book

I’m really enjoying the relationship, and the plot is also quite interesting so no complaints here. Also love having an autistic MC

this is nuts and kind of addicting; I really like the trauma and character focus, but I'm also impressed by the plot overall
