Once again, a book with an a physically abusive, revolting husband. Even if it’s a great book, and I see many positive reviews, I definitely think it should come with a Domestic Violence label so a reader can decide if they want to read it!

Can’t seem to get into this…may put aside for now.

Started reading the Kindle version and found it very slow... Didn't want to dnf but couldn't get invested in story. Our router gave out couldn't couldn't access book.
Decided to see if could listen to audio book on Spotify, so that's what I'm doing.
It's my first audio book since the Mystery Tree House I listened in the car with my daughter when she was younger.
Finally picking up in court room scenes.

I saw all the great reviews and couldn’t wait to read this. I’m at 38% and have enjoyed previous books by this author. But right now, I’m just bored and hoping it picks up.

I’ve been waiting to reading this. My question is, why do so many suspense/psychological thrillers have SO MUCH abuse featured?

I’m looking forward to see how this progresses, but why?

Interesting premise, but realizing it's more of a dystopian novel, not looking to read right now. Going back to my towering tbr pile!

Was hoping this would b a quickly paced, twisty read. Still not capturing my interest.

Decided to dnf due to a subject I’m not interested in reading about.

Just can't get into it...I'm trying but I'm not enjoying it. Very much a slow burn and just not in the right place for it. May try to finish another time.

I know there are so many great reviews, but I just can't get into it. Any advice? I never skim and now I'm skipping the past parts. Is it too soon to tell?

After reading The Fall, I went into this completely blind, so I'm shocked to read at 1% they are on a plane and the pilot just announced a "planned emergency"! At 2%, reading that when a plane crashes it's described as how many souls were on board...which I learned after reading The Fall! Am I entering a dual dimension? 🙃
