I’ve started to stop feeling bad when I DNF.
There are so many books out there that we'll never have enough time to read them all, so we should enjoy what we’re reading.
I’m reading a book now where I loved a previous novel of the author’s, but now 1/3 of the way into this one I’m still struggling to get into it.

Thanks for understanding, you’re absolutely right! My tbr list is towering at over 6000! lol I did finally try again, and like you, have enjoyed so many books by this author, but I did really struggle to get into it, Matt. I think if I hadnt started and stopped a few books in a row, I would have left it a dnf. I did finish it, improved after the 50% mark, but did not find it riveting. Sometimes I enjoy a slow burn if the words feel almost like poetry and just want to savor it…just wasn’t a good fit for me. Let me know your thoughts after you finish. Hope your next one has you glued to the pages, but not stuck. lol
