I don't know if a work buddy is worth this

Why does every male character have to be nebulously handsome? At this point the only way I can tell them apart is by hair and eye color and half the time they don’t even make sense?

Every sentence takes up a full page bc the author is so concentrated on setting the mood with their descriptions. It’s complete overkill and occasionally dizzying to read.

I think they directly translated “avoir la langue bien pendue” when the meaning is much closer to having a big mouth/can’t keep secrets or maybe having a sharp tongue? Threw me for a second though.
