I'm very intrigued by the imagery but I know this book will take me quite a while to finish to fully immerse myself in it and to keep track of each character's storyline. Not a bad thing at all but it is taking more intellectual energy than most books I read 🫣

Probably going to give it 2.5 stars..currently at page 206 so I will finish it but many things felt cheesy with all the metaphors to life that the characters would ponder, and how mysterious they are always being

I was initially drawn to the gorgeous cover of this book, and then the premise but could not follow the story once the time travel began, and felt no connection to the characters nor the setting. Everything felt halfway fleshed out - the characters and the imagery of the setting.
