Currently, I'm torn with how much fatphobia is in this book... like why? Is the author someone who doesn't like heavy people? The FMC in this book seems so sweet and she's been through so much... I hope that this books starts to get better and gets over the fact that she's heavy set... more onto the story of what is happening to the small little town of Mossbrook... and what is happening in Moss Manor!

At this point in the book... Tiernan is beginning to fall for Jake and with all due respect... I mean, I would too... he sounds like every small town girls dream. But Noah is and has been catching my eye since the beginning. I've been wondering more and more about Kaleb, though, and I don't know what I feel about his character. Do we want to like him or want to hate him? He seems mean. He seems very messed up.

At this point Trevor doesn't want to admit that he cannot love Gracie because he doesn't believe he is capable in doing so... because of his parents... because his mom devoted herself to her husband and got her heart broken in the end. And Gracie doesn't believe that she is good enough, nor will she ever be for Trevor.

Currently at the part where the Phantom and Ethel are conversing... man her dark humor and nature are one of the reasons why I've continued reading this book. Other than the way that Lachlan and Lark have made their relationship evolve (FINALLY) but I'm sad to see what's gonna happen next to Auntie Ethel.
