interesting for sure! not certain what to make of the characters. kind of put of by their ease with gruesome thing but whatever they’re surgeons after all. but i’m beginning to be sick of the trope where the guy is already in a relationship when he meets the real love interest. why is that in every novel/movie😭

definitely interesting. the writing style isn’t as nicely flowing as i would prefer but i’m still able to follow

I did not like the turn this took, near the end and I’m still as confused as the beginning, as well as, the end was very predictable from the moment the father’s condition was brought up. Still, the writing is artistic and well done but wasted on this story.

It’s interesting but hard to understand at times. The perspective shifts by chapter. The author focuses on painting the right picture of the setting over the plot and story line.

super interesting it hooked me write away! although some dialogue and the writing style does seem more juvenile for me

i see where this is going but like still lowk confused…unlike SO MANY books where description is overdone in this book it’s slightly underdone but not terrible however, i would appreciate a little bit more description for clarity

So boring. I hate the characters. Which are so underdeveloped it’s hard finding relatability and the story line is extremely dry it moves at the pace of a sloth. And anything remotely interesting only happens every million pages. Not to spoil the book but there’s no real change in the novel it goes from square one to square one.

Not bad I wish it focused less on the romance and more on the plot. Because then the author could have wrapped it up in the second book instead of dragging it on. Definitely not as good as the first one. And I feel like Simon and Kestra’s relationship needs a boost it’s filled out now and he emotionally cheated on her with Haryln which I didn’t like. Anyway I still have to finish the book so I guess I’ll see.

I don’t like that Kestra lost her character, losing her memory; okay. But she lost her personality I can’t deal with that. But I don’t know I’ll have to wait till I’m done the book.
