It’s interesting but hard to understand at times. The perspective shifts by chapter. The author focuses on painting the right picture of the setting over the plot and story line.

I did not like the turn this took, near the end and I’m still as confused as the beginning, as well as, the end was very predictable from the moment the father’s condition was brought up. Still, the writing is artistic and well done but wasted on this story.
