this is so intimate and a book that means so much to me already. it means more when the copy i’m reading is scribbled with annotations of someone i once loved and still do. it is so gay, so real, so human.

i found it interesting… the notion that dreams are pre confessions and i wonder what the last dream i had was. but i don’t remember the last time i had a dream and i wish i had remembered at least some dream

i like this but i also feel like i’ve read severs books like this already so i’m not sure what to make of it

started reading this due to my therapist recommendation but gosh its so messy and interesting and hilarious…. can’t believe her therapist physically kicks her tho…

Interesting categorizations that might be over simplistic but it’s also understandable why the author has perceived people like this. Finding it fun to look at the people around me and their personalities under this red yellow green blue framework

Has given me a lot of food for thought and things I want to try out especially with the weak ties thing. Certainly was pleasantly surprised with how comforting this book is. i like how it’s backed with studies but as a stats person, i am curious how some of the numbers came to be

Honestly so comforting, but also contains some harsh truths that I probably wouldn’t have accepted as arguments of put in a different way. There’s always something about books written by psychologist that convince. That being said, I think there are some areas that are open for debate but SUCH. A. GOOD. BOOK.

The pity that Sylvia Plath will never know how much of an impact her works has had on people because damn

Sylvia Plath genuinely might just be my favourite author. The way she’s so funny and blunt and unapologetic about everything. Surely me and her were made of the same kind of dust if dust is just dust. How is it that I don’t remember the last time I have never felt this seen by another writer?

She speaks words to bones in parts of my body I never knew existed

Sometimes there are just books where you read to first pages of and then the next and you just know it’s going to be one of your favourites.

Ok i don’t know if i like Klaras weird thing with the sun anymore but i like her character and i like how despite everything she has learned there is still so much for her to learn about humans and how just maybe this is what might separate us from intelligence. despite all AFs can do and be, they’re not human

I love Klara and her observations of love(though she doesn’t know this word yet) and the sun. The way she notices emotions and remembers small details unlike other AFs. It is super descriptive but I think it comes naturally to the story and Klara as the main character
