...should I reread No Longer Human? considering I literally JUUUST finished it-

Reading books at a comfortable reading level (slightly below what I technically can read at): calm, peaceful, best accompanied with tea

Reading books at my actual reading level: *frantically typing into the search bar* "WHAT THE FUCK DOES CONVALESCENT MEAN-"

This is honestly well on its way to becoming one of my favorite books. Sure, it's rampant with misogyny, as the more negative reviews are quick to point out, but it's also quite poetic in the style of writing and beautifully descriptive where it counts

This is currently a 4/5 after I knocked it down a star for the description of Miss Baker (your misogyny is showing, Mr. Fitzgerald)
