Terrible- this is for teens- first book I’ve ever given up on and not finishing- this won awards?? Mind-officially-blown.

Ugh- lots and lots of skimming- totally dislike Ara- Author turned her into a little brat. Not bothering with the other two in the series

Really struggling to get through this chaotic story that has such loooonnnngggg dry spells- not sure it is worth reading

Very slow - at 32% and really forcing myself to continue- no character development at all

Totally entranced- wish I could read faster!

Finally an engaging fabulous read! Love the developing characters and story!

OK this is really disappointing. It’s like the author took a weekend to compose this book. It is so clumsy and very hard to read- example: Mateus, who had been gone all day after main character’s first shift in front of him - runs in to warn her there is a killer after her- she cries “ we gotta get you to a hospital” but then they all go looking for the killer and his injuries just forgotten??

Terrible- I became so annoyed with the whiny whiny character of Cass - I know we are supposed to root for the main character and frankly I hope she dies. One less sniveling person who can’t keep their promise and be a standup person. I am done with this series. Author should’ve never brought in the whole changeling storyline stupid stupid stupid

OMG- the main character Ena- (aka Serena) is driving me CRAZY with her WHINING!! Why did this author make the main character so flipping annoying. I am only reading the book to find out the story of brother/sister witches and A- I can not stand Ena’s whine whine whine- not sure I can finish this -

I really wanted to like this book, based on reviews- however does no one notice how the author has main character- Emma- a smart-mouth bitch one minute, then a sniffling weak broken woman the next - I just don’t like Emma AND that chapter on the torture from her dad was way overboard- definitely was not looking to read that kind of “story”. So much for exciting fae romance-

I’m about to give up on this - I find main character Ivyanka too weak, needy, and have no care if she gets caught- if you can’t root for the heroine- what’s the point- no sense in continuing the story. Very disappointed

Terrible- suitable for 13 year olds. I am not going to continue.

Ok so again- very long repetitive read- super annoyed with several characters
Elin- she strides back in and there is NO CONSEQUENCE for running away - Reiner is a joke of a man- really hope he ends up with Elin- it’s what he deserves.
Eddeth- loved her quirkiness in book one, but am finding her story just exhausting now. Put a muzzle on her and be done.
Sig- his crying - man or 4 year old??
