SEDIH BANGET...

Finished the first chapter and it kinda reminds me of those isekai Webtoons...

Haven’t been able to read much due to my responsibility of being A) college student and B) eldest daughter & grandchildren (I know it seems silly but trust me, I wish I could bury myself under the fig tree right now) (Oh, also about Kostas & Defne’s reunion? They successfully crushed my soul, thank you).

Finished the third chapter, and it also finished me. I’m taking a break and will continue my reading tomorrow because I want to SAVOUR every part of this book SLOWLY and CALMLY (I feel like I need to).

Officially finished chapter/part two, titled “Roots”. Spoiler: a little painful, with abundance of stories about the past—around Defne and Kostas’ family and friends. Still loving every pages even though I feel numb all over with the grief heightened.

I’ve been feeling a little uneasy about finishing the second chapter so I didn’t touch the book since last night. And so, I read again at around 2 PM and guess what? I got, not one, but TWO moments of grief within less than ten pages 😆😆 I love my life 😆😆😆

Halfway through the second chapter but I really need to take a rest for the sake of my eyes (and my soul).

Just finished the first chapter of this book at 1 AM and I kid you not... This is a good book. And I’m certainly not ready to read about the hurt and grief it will present to me in the next chapters... Oh God...

I need to say this but Yoshihide? Ain’t scary at all! He’s just a little quirky and kinky, that’s all there is! Poor him, he would love living in 21st century.
