I’m reading super slow so I can take notes as i go and i’m glad i am. I really didn’t pay attention to the lore behind Jon Arryn or Rhaegar Targaryen until now and it adds soooo much to the overall story/reasoning for all the events. I’m so fascinated by Rhaegar as a character now, it’s crazy that he doesn’t actually appear in any of the books.

i never finish nonfiction books so let’s see if reading about knights fixes that

I was like 40% done with the audiobook but restarting with a physical copy so I can annotate it :^) A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has rebooted my Game of Thrones obsession

reading for book club :^) enjoying it so far, dialogue writing style is so weird but i don’t mind it

i’ve owned a used copy of this book for ages, finally reading it as part of the good reads spring challenge “marathon reader” category

reading about dustin and lucas doing everything in their power to include max in the friend group from max’s perspective is soooooo cute, she’s so happy to be making friends

nice brainless reading :P been really enjoying having a throw away simple read that i can pick up when im not in the mood to lock in for the meatier books im reading at the same time. also i can’t help but still be attached to the stranger things characters ;-;

i do kinda regret not getting the abridged version because i’m enjoying this but boy is it dragging on. almost 200 pages in and the main story hasnt even started yet

just realized how similar in tone this is to the magnus archives, really enjoying it

begging stephen king to stop introducing characters every chapter and then killing them off like 50 pages later, i can not keep up with who these people are. having to keep a notebook with names next to me is getting tedious

it’s kinda performance art that i’m taking psychic damage while reading the book about a play that gives people psychic damage (i mean this positively, im having fun trying to keep up with the world building, my head hurts though lol)
