just realized how similar in tone this is to the magnus archives, really enjoying it

begging stephen king to stop introducing characters every chapter and then killing them off like 50 pages later, i can not keep up with who these people are. having to keep a notebook with names next to me is getting tedious

it’s kinda performance art that i’m taking psychic damage while reading the book about a play that gives people psychic damage (i mean this positively, im having fun trying to keep up with the world building, my head hurts though lol)
