I'm kinda bored, but I'll won't DNF.

She just threw a shoe at his head, so yeah, ima slip to the end cuz I cannot take this immaturity. 🙄

Ugh, struggling so hard!! I HATE when authors don't write children in the appropriate age! Hellooo, this baby is 3 and she's articulating how sad she is that her mama abandoned her?? What are we doing right now? Sigh!

Ummm, I'm kinda having mixed feelings about this. Sadly, I def don't like it as much as I thought I would.

I don't really like these people or this story! Ugh, trying not to DNF!

Ok, while this is an interesting story overall, the romance is lacking- like big time! The main couple isn't even together at this point. They're friends! The storyline about her deceased brother feels like the main plot. My mind is wandering. At this point, get together or don't! Sigh

Ummm, I'm bored! Too much backstory and side-story and angst- they're only friends at this point and the friendship even feels heavy. I'm about to skip to the end, cuz I can't take this anymore!

I don't love this book. I don't feel a connection to either of the MC's. For some reason, the FMC is annoying me and the MMC is wayyy too high handed! His need for control and keeping secrets is getting on my nerves!

Probably just me, but we're in like Chapter 7, they've met twice and he's looking at her lips, thinking "how good they'd look wrapped around him". This is NOT hot! Sigh!

Immature college kids. Val is a nightmare and I don't care much for Posey. Brent is ok.

Please tell me why if I have a stalker, who's leaving animal hearts on my bed with notes saying I've ripped his heart out, that I'd be questioning why I'd need security detail? 🙄

Chapter 6- I'm sooo struggling with the name Zaxton!! Like, really? I cringe every time someone says it. Sebastian York and Stella Hunter are doing a fantastic job narrating!

Ugh, I'm sooo not invested! I feel indifferent towards both MC's. I only plan to finish to see what happens to the ex and business partner who's plotting against them.

Umm, 3 hours left in this 10 hour audiobook and they're still not together! Will they be a couple by the epilogue? Sheesh! 🙄

Ok, I'm noticing a theme with this author. The insta-love comes outta nowhere and you feel like you missed something. I like the characters, so it's saving the book, otherwise, I'd be DNF'ing!

Not sure of the percentage, but I'm in chapter 11. I'm laughing at the amount of times they've "bumped into" one another. I live in a community where the homes are in clusters of 5, with a main/ shared driveway that each individual driveway is attached to. I can go literal weeks without seeing my neighbors and they're seeing each other left and right. So unbelievable.

Note to self, the next you're listening to a small town romance audiobook where there's a douchey family that is above the law and runs the town- run for the hills! I am BEYOND sick of these people! 🙄 It's overpowering the romance.

Sigh!! Ok, I get this is fake marriage of convenience, but when planning your "sell it to the family story", who thinks to include the first time you had sex? Kill me now! I see why readers said they didn't connect to these characters. I'm trying to thug it out, so pray for me!

Way too much descriptive sex! Please go off page, I've started skipping them. Sheesh!

Listening to audiobook and I'm loving the duet and multiple cast members, but as for the book, Tucker is carrying the story by being an overall swoony dude. Darby isn't bad, I think I'm just over the Lexington kid's traumatic childhood at the hands of their father.

I'm on chapter 17 and the male love interest just showed up! Oh and with a bossy female coworker, acting like he's hers and him letting her! 🙄. Literally 16 chapters of the tales between the heroine and an elderly woman. I'm nearly bored to tears!

Her mom is awful AF!! Remind me to skip any book if there's a heroine with mommy-issues and a critical, narcissist mom who's an entire manipulative witch! The mom is literally draining my essence! Can we focus on the romance? Sigh!

Decent so far, but grateful it's a short book, cuz one bad relationship and you've sworn off all men- yeah, it's annoying! 🙄

Kinda boring, but it's getting me through a slump and it's free on Audible, so I'm not complaining.

Do they not have 911 in this town? WTF?? There's a terrible storm, someone calls you for help and you run out to help and crash your car, really? Oh yeah and you're pregnant! What did you think you were gonna do? Just dumb! 🙄

Ok, this is a 13 hr 🎧book and I have to say, not much is going on with the main couple! No romance! At all! I think they just kissed, but it's not even clear they like each other. Only reason I'm hanging in is that I've been in a slump, otherwise, I'd give up!

Ugh, Victoria/ Tori gets on my nerves! Her snark is beyond annoying. Like we get it, he's older! But referring to the dude you're sleeping with as "Grandpa" or saying "he's good with technology, for his age" is getting old and it's not cute! 🙄

Uhhh, Tessa sucks!!! Her mom asked something of Leo, swore him to secrecy and when it came out, Tessa put all the blame on Leo! When she found out the truth, she didn't even apologize! Meanwhile, the author has him pining for her and she's ready to move out of state! Ugh, I hate third act breakups, especially when they're stupid! 🙄
