Uhh, this book is kinda intense! Def unlike anything I've listened to in a while, but I'm enjoying it. :)

Not gonna lie, hero is kinda douchey! Sigh

DNF, not a fan of the writing style, the narrators, the storyline or the characters. The only reason at 85% is because I feel asleep at some point. Ugh, no thanks!

Uhh, the side characters in the book suck sooo bad! The book is def abt 1.5 stars and the only reason I did DNF is because I wanted to see them get theirs. 🙄

Gorgeous powerful billionaire, pretty plus size assistant. They engage in a sex only arrangement while planning his sister's wedding together and we, the poor reader has to endure wayyy too many sex scenes. Not a terrible read, just wish more was going on.

I'm nearly 3 hours in on this audiobook and it's beyond boring! It's literally the second day! Like 3 hours and it's only the second day of the story? So much fluff and inner dialogue! I'm nearly abt to pull out my hair. Sigh

If I NEVER hear the word "sexcation" again, it won't be too soon! It's beyond lame and they're wearing it out! Sigh.

Lots of fluff from family members and other stuff. Not a lot about the couple. They already know each other when the books starts, so an over 7 hr audiobook is wild! There's no mystery, not much romance, no sexy times- like what am I even doing?

DNF. Sigh. Very hard to get no the story and def didn't feel anything about the characters. Just blah.

Definitely not the usual H/h. Started off kinda sad. She has low self esteem and he's kinda awkward/misunderstood. It's told from a single POV (the h) and I'm 1/2 way done and although she's feeling him, not sure how he feels about her. Very slow paced, as far as the romance goes.

Ok 1st- I HATE these names! Maxton, really? Maxton and Kensington? Brighton and Nicole are the other couple! Bless God for the name Nicole. Sigh, when Maxton meets Kensington, he asks her to dance and when she says no, he goes outside to have sex with another chick in his truck. Oh and the 2nd time, he talks about what he could do with his mouth. Such a pig!

Sighhhh! I'm struggling through. I'm not a huge fan of flipping between past and present, but I'm find this extremely hard to follow. And giving a date at the beginning of the chapter isn't helpful, especially since I don't even know if I'm in the past or present! 🤣 it would've made more sense to just give the background in the prologue.

Sigh!!!! Troy (please don't get me started on the name Troy 🙄) is sweet and a very good friend, but by book-boyfriend's go, he's kind of a loser! He's the butt of jokes, lives in his semi famous brother's shadow, oh and him being obsessed with The Fresh Price of Bel-Air, doing the Carlton dance, is sooo cringe! Stevie was kinda awful, he deserved better.

Runaway Road
3/5- TBH, I kinda got tired of hearing about taking the Cadillac to Karson.

Wild Highway-DNF'd. Just wasn't in the mood for enemies to lovers and all the bickering that comes with it.

Quarter Miles- still reading, somewhat enjoying.

Ugh, if I NEVER hear "hotshot" and " sunshine" (they're annoying IMO, supposedly insulting nicknames for one another) again, it won't be too soon! I think the biggest thing for me is the lack of chemistry! Dominick is not swoony at all and I'm kind neutral on Faith. Story is ok, but without the chemistry, it feels blah.

Overall, I'm enjoying the book, but I'm feeling away about a terminally ill seven year old. Ugh also, I'm quickly burnt out when one bad thing after another keeps happening to the main characters! Like can these folks catch a break? Sheesh!

The book is ok, but I want better for Lauren. Better than someone who dumped her with no explanation, leaving her heartbroken and I also don't like his bratty daughter.

Uhhh, I'm actually struggling with this story! There's sooo much trauma and abuse! Is this even romance? I'm having a hard time feeling that it is. Sigh. Gonna thug it out though and hope for things to pick up. Sigh

Really enjoying this book so far! It's a long one, kind of a slow burn, but with like 14 hours to go, I'm interested in seeing what all unfolds.

Sooo, I fell asleep listening to this last night and now I'm over 9 hrs in, with 5 hrs to go and the couple isn't even together? And I don't mean "third act break up" not together, but "liking each other, but scared to ruin the friendship" not together! Yeah, there's No Way I'm going back to listen to the beginning, cuz what have y'all been doing for nine whole hours?? 🙄

A bit too much sex for me, but this is a friend's w/benefits to lovers situation, so I guess it's to be expected. I'm skipping past when needed, so I'm not overly bothered by it.

This is sooo good! TBH, I'm obsessed with this series, but for some reason I didn't think Rio would be a good lead character and I had even more doubts with it being second chance, but also enemies to lovers again. I kinda hate the latter trope, although I love a good second chance.

Taking a break, cuz Xavier is back in MN, Samantha is in CA and all we're hearing about is her mom's dementia! I wanna read about romance, not about an illness of a side character! This is more of the book's theme than the relationship between the two leads. Sigh

Gahhh, I LOVE AJ, but I'm sooo bored! Like the two main characters were in an escape room and we had to listen to them finding clues, etc, sigh. I'm praying this picks up, cuz I'll be super disappointed. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Ummm yeah, I'm only 2 hours in and I'm already done with this book! I'm skipping to the end to see her reunite with her brother, then I'm throwing in the towel immediately after!

I'm enjoying the cuteness of this book so far, however, I HATE the non-fraternization workplace angle. It really grates on my nerves!
