Sighhhh! I'm struggling through. I'm not a huge fan of flipping between past and present, but I'm find this extremely hard to follow. And giving a date at the beginning of the chapter isn't helpful, especially since I don't even know if I'm in the past or present! 🤣 it would've made more sense to just give the background in the prologue.
