How many times will the author use the term “Atlas Shrugs”. 🫣🙈

Adorable romance. Love the Seattle sites that are many of my favorites.

I don’t usually do middle of the book reviews but I am today.

I got this book earlier this week and at the same time I got the 3rd book in an incredibly popular Romantacy series. When I pick up my kindle this is the book I immediately go to. I actually read well past my bedtime last night because I had become so involved and I rarely justify doing that anymore.

Can’t wait to see where this one goes.

Someone I follow on TikTok is taking on a few US Classics and I’ve never read this. I am intrigued if I will loathe it as much as I do most Classics. I guess we will find out. 😂😂

Blahhhhh the world is so stupid. These powerful beings that can kill in the blink of an eye just allow the stupid humans to live in their world and be a threat to them. I just can’t.

This has very Odd Thomas vibes! I love it so far.

Meh. The narrator was very breathy and the story was lacking. I’d have loved to see the main character put effort into cooking the Croquembouche or generally being less of a flighty dimwit. Sorry I really try not to be harsh but the lead was bland.

This book a hysterical and would make a fantastic tv show or movie. 😂🤣

So I get what the author is trying to do. Having this woman with a bad mother trying to throw shade that she may be unreliable but as someone with a bad mother it’s not working for me. I don’t question any of Blythe’s experiences so basically this book is not as interesting. I guess if you grew up with a healthy family you might question everything but I guess I just don’t.

I’m barely into this book and it’s already significantly better than the last book I read.

I read most of this in HS but never finished it.

When a romance writer tries to write a suspense novel she should drop at least half the sexual scenes. Then drop another half. I don’t read suspense to get horny.

If you want a rollercoaster ride this is the book for you. It starts a little slow as they introduce you to the characters.

Yeah so I’m bored and this is going nowhere right now so you are going in my “maybe finish later pile. It just not enjoyable. Wade has become a petulant child.

When you write two VERY different series of books consider using a different narrator. Recently read the Jakarta books by the same author now listening to this series and the narrator is the same. The book is confusing enough with all the toxically masculine military guys but it’s worse when they all sound like the toxically masculine characters from the other book.

This book is drier than Death Valley but very interesting information.

Okay I was hesitant to read this. The title was honestly a turn off to me but after catching the first 10 mins of the movie on HBO the other day I decided I'd better give it a try. I am absolutely loving it. The characters are great and I'm learning a lot about a society I had no clue about. One of the best books I've read in a long time.

I'm dying. This book is hysterical so far.

This book is crazy and hysterical and completely irreverent. I like it.

Good ghost story so far.

Putting this one on hold. As someone that came from a lower middle class family where so many of my relatives would rather drink than take care of their families this ones starting to piss me off. The characters are compelling but I’m not in the mood to deal with irresponsible people.

I’ll finish this up another time.

The author needs to stop trying to write about how a young woman is getting all hot and bothered about seeing a guys penis. Public Service Announcement: women aren't attracted to men by their junk. Give it a rest!

Please advice to male authors. Don't write sequences where a young woman is getting all hot and bothered because she saw a man's penis. Seriously we don't think this way. This is obviously why men think we want to see their Junk shots. Stop it!

Decent zombie book so far except for the fact it sounds like it's written by a horribly toxic male teenager that has never had a sexual relationship before. Just STOP it.
