I can't stop reading...

Very much enjoying this so far, well written and engaging. Only about 750 pages left to go!

I am *really* enjoying the ride, but I NEED to know what's going on, lol.

So far so good! I'm enjoying the pastoral feel with just tiny hints of something sinister. I'm really curious to see what this is building to.

I'm 10% in and not understanding how this won a major award. This is basically following Pete Davidson's character Chad on SNL. "Okay."

Not usually a YA reader, let alone middle grade, but listening to this on audiobook is entertaining enough - chosen for r/fantasy bingo "middle grade" square. The dog is a little annoying, but this is exactly how I assume a dog would think lol.

The first story was decent, the second EXCEPTIONAL.

I'm quite into the book and about to go back to it, I'm just really angry at Marian (one of the characters) right now and taking a break.

I'm listening to this on audiobook, it's really fun.

This is my second attempt at reading a Le Guin, and I'm not feeling it. The first story in this collection was well written but predictable and a bit boring (3/5), I'm almost done with the second story and drifting - I simply do not care about what happens to any of the characters. This might end up being a DNF.

Stream of consciousness, shifting identities, some upsetting content... I'm sucked in, but not for the faint of heart.

A bit of a languid read, but I'm chipping away at it and really enjoying this one so far. (I'm not giving Gaiman my money, don't worry, I found it at a thrift store for $1)

Fun so far, though I have discovered that I hate the word "peeper" and some of the dialogue is... interesting.

Nope. Going to bed failed. It's 1:30am and I'm still reading. 0_0

I did not intend to read this much or stay up this late, but this book hooked me. I still don't want to put it down but I need to get some sleep.

Unless something crazy happens, I think this going to a 3.5 star/neutral read. There's nothing wrong with it, per say, it's just not holding my interest and I'm only mildly invested.

So far, I am quite bored.

Just as good as the first one so far, will probably finish it next sitting.

Grabbed this audiobook off Hoopla on a whim. It's okay so far. I like the content, but the writing voice sounds the same for all the characters so far.

Again, I read the book skipping part 2, now I am about halfway done with part 2 and bored out of my mind. The plot of this embedded story is great but the writing is so long winded that it's making me not care.

Don't do the audiobook for this one, I had to switch to Kindle. I'm also reading out of order, skipped part 2 completely (a touch over 50% of the book) finished, and just went back to read it so I'm guessing on the percentage. Part 2 is a separate story within the story that kept tripping me up. I don't feel like I am missed out reading out of order, you don't need it to infer.

This one is fascinating and sad/dark. I'm usually not that invested in mysteries but I want to know how everything ties together. This one is much better than his other two books so far.

The main character is such a rude entitled c word. Nothing horror related has happened yet.

Really enjoying this so far. The changes in POV feel organic rather than organized, and I'm loving the insanely detailed medical descriptions. There is a creeping speckled dread that I hope will build up to something good.

Very slow so far, not the vibe I was expecting.

The premise is great, but the details are mundane.

Listened to this during a long hike, it's really good. One of the perspectives is hard to believe, but the rest are great.

Okay so far, definitely well researched, a little repetitive. I'm reading this solely for a bookmark.
