A bit of self hate that I have made it this far in this book. But now I will finish it. Made it this far.
The sex scenes are the only slightly redeeming qualities. Everyone is so juvenile and the dialogue immature and stilted. If people actually communicated like adults this whole book would not exist ... which I suppose is why we are subjected to so much unnecessary avoidance of meaningful dialogue.

Why is this 42 year old man acting like he's an emotionally stunted 22 year old? The writing could definitely use editing. Ex: A chapter ended saying the day was bad because it started with a fight with her BFF. But the scene with the BFF was supportive - there was no fight? A lot of the same thoughts and behaviour over and over. Why are the girlfriends so mean to each other it's weird...
