Oops. Just read some reviews and saw that this is Livia Cutty’s first appearance in Charlie Donlea’s books. I read a book earlier that was apparently her SECOND appearance in his books….. I was wondering about some of the reviews cheering for her 😭😭 Loved her in that, looking forward to this one being partially centered around her!

Detective is smart coz I didn’t even think about Max already being dead. That is so true, we haven’t seen him awake at all in this book. He was ‘asleep’ at their house the day before, then ‘asleep’ in the morning. Hooooly fuck. And I think Andrew is dodgy anyway, Max somehow died in Andrew’s care and he set this up?? Which is why he wasnt actually rushing in the morning?

I’ve only just started this book and I have heard that there’s a huge crazy plot twist in it so I have been noticing some things.
1. Andrew is supposed to be rushing which is why Leila has to take Max, but when she leaves he is not rushing.
2. The blueprints have mysteriously gone missing from her and her coworkers office causing her to forget Max.
