There's a pit in my stomach as I'm listening to this while knowing the fates of Paris and Cassandra 😭 Sometimes it's so hard to read Greek mythology because I know how the stories will end and how the characters will suffer no matter how happy they are at the beginning and how pure their intentions may be

I really wish I had read this before starting my GLP1 journey! Especially the chapter about titration. Everyone online and my own provider always push for you to get to the next dose as fast as possible but Dr. Salas-Whalen explains why that's not always the best option and can even be detrimental to progress.

I wish Dr. Salas-Whalen was my provider instead of the guy I have now!!

I keep forgetting what book I'm reading since he's still talking about ancient Greece 10% in but as a huge Greek history/mythology nerd I'm perfectly fine with it lol

We're at the 70% mark, that means it's time for the third act breakup :,)

I love this book but I'm getting SICK of third act breakups and ik I purposely read fake dating all the time but I know we're about to have the fake dating plot revealed and I'm not looking forward to it :/

Okay but if high school science class actually taught us important things like how our bodies work, I think I would've actually paid attention. This is so interesting. Of course I've heard the words calories, metabolism, BMR, etc used a billion times but I've honestly never fully understood what they meant until now. This is a really interesting read for anyone that wants to understand how our bodies use food energy!
