Best book I’ve read this year.

Reading on my kindle before bed. Fantastic story, excellent prose. I love an intergenerational story.

Absolutely fantastic memoir. I’ve had it on my shelf since 2018, but finally cracked it open. 10/10, perfect 5 stars.

Listening to the audiobook. Only a few chapters in, but absolutely mesmerized by the gorgeous prose.

I haven’t had this much fun reading a book in quite awhile. Not a relaxing on the beach read - much more cerebral and requires a bit more focus. But as a former high school English literature teacher, 10/10 read so far.

This book is unlike anything I’ve ever read before - it’s feels like a mental stretch to follow the plot. Highly recommend, especially if you’re someone interested in what life might look like in 2119. It’s really fun to follow researchers who are studying the time I’m living in right now.

The end of the book outlines the role Facebook played in the instability of Myanmar. The leadership at FB is complicit in crimes against humanity.

This book is a doozy… not a pleasant topic, to learn about the misuse/mismanagement of a global platform (Facebook) but an important and very informative read.

Listening to the audiobook on Libby. Thank goodness for Sparknotes… I’m barely 5% of the way in and beed chapter summaries to recap.

This is one of the most important books published in 2025. Wow! Just finished the chapter where Zuck finally realizes that Facebook is responsible for Trump’s 2016 election win.

Attempted the audiobook (I want the Spine Tingler bookmark on GoodReads) I’m struggling to follow the plot via audio and have re-listened to the opening chapter twice. 😆 The story is excellent, but I think I’d do better reading a physical copy.
