I’m gonna need this to pick up a bit. Has all the components of a good story but every time there is a flashback I want to put the book down. And also I am having a hard time liking the FMC she’s a little martyr/savior/sacrifice complex and I either need the author to show me she’s worth it or for her to buck up.

Whatever genius man thought it was okay to make this the only book in the will Trent multi-verse narrated by a different person deserves to be stabbed in the kidney.

I do not understand why Sarah hates Lina so much. Especially so early in this series. I get it a little bit more in the Will Trent series but Lina just went through hell and Sarah shows her no compassion.

Can someone tell me when this gets interesting? 😅

This book is hard to read normally but on top of what is going on in the world right now, it makes it even more difficult. You could take parts of this book out and wouldn’t be able to tell whether she was talking about this book or Palestine and Israel.
