I think this book poses some very good questions about AI. It puts you in the lives of these people and really makes you wonder where the line should be drawn for blaming AI. At what point are we just blaming each other? I wish we could’ve seen more perspectives about the crash, maybe someone who believed Charlie was truly at fault and could argue against the AI. I loved the excerpt parts from Lorelei’s work.

That was beautiful. I forgot I was reading someone else reading. Inga wrote so well and with just enough detail that I saw the way her life mirrored Torie’s. One gruff older man, a young boy misguided and angry, a softer boy from nowhere who was good, and a girl trying to be what everyone needed. I don’t want this book to end now. I think I’ll really miss these characters. I’m attached to both girls.
