I’m also on ‘Prose Village’ on Plant Nanny, which is a library setting.

Libraries are haunting me right now.

After finishing the story about a never ending library of gibberish in Hell, this book seemed fitting.

Another library with another existential crisis.

I really like this book. It’s something I would have been so proud of if I had written it or thought of it.

Now that he’s “saved”… oh my… I’m yelling “go!!“ but then realize, when you think about the situation, it really isn’t proper.

I like to read Fforde’s books slowly. I savor every word. also like to reread sentences so I really understand every excerpt and don’t miss anything.

I may take a break from Murakami’s Kafka on the Shore. I hit chapter 16 when the cat heads are introduced...I don’t think I can stomach this. My cat of 15 years went missing last week and it was a coincidence I’m reading a book that has a character who searches for missing cats, but killing the cats is too much for me right now. My mental health can’t be fed this literature.

I don’t know if this would be considered a coincidence ... my cat of 15 years went missing on Monday. needless to say I’m devastated; the pain and despair I feel is so deep I can barely hold it together. then I open this book I’m currently reading, which has been sitting next to my bed for perhaps 8 months, and there’s a missing cat ... I don’t know.

Incredible. Can’t put it down

40% I think I know where this is going 🧐
