I may take a break from Murakami’s Kafka on the Shore. I hit chapter 16 when the cat heads are introduced...I don’t think I can stomach this. My cat of 15 years went missing last week and it was a coincidence I’m reading a book that has a character who searches for missing cats, but killing the cats is too much for me right now. My mental health can’t be fed this literature.
