Found a free audio book on Spotify for the tandem read and it’s helping soooo much!!!

Slowly but surely

Going through this with my mentor, so good and great convos coming out of it!

Shout out to my husband who, although he has read this before, listens to me yap for hours about all that I’m learning from this book!

Guys this book is seriously sooo good and so interesting!

Hitting a slump with the book, feel like the middle isn’t as good, but flew through the first 300 pages like it was nothing because it was that good!

Y’all!! I’m actually obsessed!
I love a good biography/memoir and have read some solid ones, my favorite being the Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom, based in Holland during the reign of Hitler. However, I do have to say, this is coming dangerously close to being better than that one! The sovereignty of God is so beautiful to watch and the way He watches over and protects His sheep is amazing!

Chapter 6 had me weeping not going to lie to you!
“But I am a great sinner, say you.
‘I will in no wise cast out,’ says Christ.
…
But I have served Satan all my days, say you
‘I will in no wise cast out,’ says Christ.

But I have no good thing to bring with me, say you.
‘I will in no wise cast out,’ says Christ”

So far, loving how much discussion there is on what the world thinks vs God thinks. There’s about 5-8 discussion questions at the end of every chapter, allowing for a deep conversation with someone else or a time of self-reflection for yourself!
