i initially thought that this was a subpar performance by rebecca soler (it was) ((i mean jesus)) but now listening to the graphic audio version i’m realizing that it’s not soler’s fault, violet is just really annoying

Rebecca Soler….. i can’t keep defending you like this. what a joke. RE-RECORD THE BOOK. THE WHILE BOOK. i mean this audiobook is slopped together horribly. the changed pronunciations which stop again halfway through 😭 like fix it or dont but why did they half a$$ this so bad? not to mention she’s so obviously sick with sniffling and swallowing sounds AND A STUFFY NOSE?! this sounds terrible.

am i crazy or is there like….. no imagery or setting description or characterization really at all in this. just plot over a vague blurred background

this is crazy. i can’t wait for this to be over and i love it at the same time. i will never reread this and it is so good.

i almost hate how immediately gripping and immersive this book is lol. like how do i know that this measures up to its accolades and i don’t even know what happens yet. this is like if the catcher in the rye was good. also tennessee has my heart forever.
