Damn you really do just need to get past the first two chapters

This is the farthest I’ve ever gotten with this book l. The first person perspective of Tolkien himself is WEIRD

I REALLY thought that Gen had stolen the stone again from the Magus when they ‘brushed shoulders’ and then Gen tied it into his braid but it’s been a really long time since that part and I feel like it would have been revealed if that’s actually what had happened.

I hate this book

This book is so fucking stupid. The pacing makes no sense. Taj has had two interactions with the princess and they are in love? It seems like only about five days have passed from the beginning of the book but they keep talking like he’s been there for months. And there isn’t even a “problem” yet. No mission. No goal. No plan. Taj is fully content just chilling at the palace. Wtf

Ugh Bo is being awful and and the pacing is slow as fuck. Why do I keep reading YA

The audiobook is quite entertaining to listen to but I just read the synopsis again and he is in love with the princess…? I don’t know how to feel about that

Finally. The final battle. Memories returning. Prophecies fulfilling. Son of Neptune is cominggggg.

Rome was NOT the greatest empire of all time that is completely subjective. Also Jason has done literally nothing but summon lightning twice and almost pass out both times. Piper has been giving them ALL their greek myth knowledge, Leo got the dragon, Piper got them out of Boreas’ house, Leo killed the Cyclopes, and Piper got them away from Medea. FUCK Jason he is the most useless main character of all time.

Ok we’re getting somewhere. Festus is an excellent character even though he is a dragon animatronic.

Bro Leo is so cool and then we go back to Jason chapters. Genuinely been the bane of my existence since 4th grade.

Jason is still lame but Leo is cool and awesome and I love him

i’m biased cause i never liked jason but this book is gonna be a lot harder to get through than son of neptune

Chaol 😭😭😭

I had to look it up. Who the FUCK is Rowan. I love Chaol and I’m sick of Dorian and apparently she doesn’t even end up with either of them????? And at 17 her boyfriend DIES and she’s just back to dating right after.
Oh my god I cannot stand this book.
When I’m done I’m gonna rewrite in my head that she’s with Chaol and never think about this godforsaken book again.

I’m SICKKK of Dorian. Please just let Chaol win please. I hate that I can’t remember how this book ends. I just want to look it up so bad.
