a page turner not necessarily in the fact that it's good but in the sense that I just want to know the underwhelming thing that keeps being alluded to that we already know the outcome of. piglet is verryyy type A living perfectionist life and needing to be perceived

it feels like a page of this book has been ripped out??? like they have nice family dinner and talk about marriage then in bed "he tells her something" and he's crying but then they have sex or something then she doesn't feel good and he asks if they still wanna get married???? wtf is going on

keeps using food similes to describe stuff which I think is cool "she felt as though she might melt into the floor: fat rendering into liquid"

i'm not into the style of doing a chapter then having one page w one sentence italicized hinting to a random idea that we don't know anything about yet

book club #2, it seems like she is a little bit controlling and wants satisfaction of doing above and beyond things or maybe validation or something. It talks about them getting married in 98 days and then says something bad happens 13 days before the wedding but then jumps to 20 days. I wish they had waited and not said the 13th day thing and just let it happen
