This book feels incredibly cheesy, and I’ve struggled to stay engaged because the writing style leans heavily into YA. The dialogue is painfully predictable, making it hard to stay invested. The one element that kept me curious was the mystery of Justin’s mom—but after all that buildup, the reveal came too quickly. Now I’m just pushing myself to finish the book out of sheer determination, not enjoyment.
