so this book is fucking incredible
it also has some striking similarities to in the lives of puppets with the “terrible dogfish” “puppet people” and the grandfather who isn’t really the real grandfather. clearly either TJ Klune took inspiration from this book or both Jay and TJ took inspo from Pinocchio

this book is giving a mix of in the lives of puppets and mad max

unfortunately i’m gonna have to DNF i think. the first chapter was promising but i cannot, for some odd reason, connect with this book or any of the characters. i just don’t care
