finally a good book. that cave scene was devastating ㅠㅠ

it bothers me that this book could’ve been SO much better if it was written by a more competent writer, no offense, Dietrich.

how is this his 6th book? it reads like a debut. actually some debuts have better writing. man i’m gonna have a hell of a time writing my dis-track for this one

okay the writing is wattpad level bad (like im getting second hand embarrassment) but the book is hilarious. idk how i’ll rate it in the end haha

honestly I feel indifferent to this book. i like the restaurant hustle and bustle but the plot is too fast paced and the political commentary is not what i was expecting from a “cozy” robot book

I hope Dalila has a plan because otherwise they’re doomed

ok the animal killing was so unnecessary and gruesome and it will affect the rating

okay this is better than the first book. i love a good mystery with political intrigue and this also has so much better pacing than book 1.

Romance isn’t usually my go to genre (I prefer romance as a side dish along with sci-fi or fantasy) but this book is friggen incredible. i highly relate to Simon as an anxious introvert and Charlie and Simon are already winning me over. I can’t believe this is a standalone i want six BOOKS NOW RAHHH

I don’t want this book to end (thankfully the sequel is out)
