I hope, like her other books this will build to something grand

Ohh this is fun!

These truly just didn’t grip me as much as I hoped

Interesting premise so far

This book is stressing me out!! 😆 sometimes people are so smart and then. One wrong decisions feels unlikely

My first S.A.Cosby book and loving it so far. Already being this far in I’m reminded of American Fiction the movie and his Johnny red bottle book lol

Mixed feelings about this novel

This has grown on me

I really enjoy the premise of this book, it’s just taking me a minute to get through it

Absolutely amazed by this book! I have heard great things of Feists work, but this proves everyone right. I’m hooked unexpectedly

This book got sooo much better, but still has a major fault in my eyes

I got very annoyed at the beginning of this book, because of the plot point of warrior society but people aren’t defending themselves, literally. But it’s good so far haha

Setting isn’t really for me but the story is fun so far, super cute.

This book so far has potential, I’m hoping for a transition similar to the demon cycle

It’s grown on me a bit, but this book is one of several that I’m going through as an adult, to see if I’d pass along to children of my own in the future.

This is classic teen drama, not disliking it completely. But I think that’s because I’m visualizing it as an anime and that’s my jam. But otherwise it’s something I would’ve connected more with when I was younger.

Had higher hopes for this book, but it isn’t gripping me as much as I hoped. Even with Alan Cummings voice!

Truly shocked the audio is Alan Cumming!! So happy!!

As someone who doesn’t have chronic anxiety, this book feels like it provides imagery that enlightens me.

One of the first anime I ever watched and one of the best! So happy I found the manga while thrifting!
