I'll give her her do, Elizabeth surely writes unashamedly the real, raw truth of her experiences which doesn't always put her in the best light. I appreciate that and respect her bravery to do so.
As far as Ted: what a manipulator and mental/emotional abuser. Liar, cheater, gaslighter, no good son of a gun. Also i'd not known she had been pregnant/aborted Ted's child. Really enjoyed the updated 2019/20 preface

Oh Joe. :) He may be a sociopathic, obsessive and sometimes murderous stalker - but man the boy has patience! By this point in the book, I'm over Beck's self-obsessive, millennial- instant gratification, selfish using of Joe. Oh Joe, this says more about you (the girls you pick) than the behaviour thereafter itself, LOVING THIS BOOK. LOVE THE NARRATION (and I don't read a lot of fiction- but this series I'M IN!

Really well written page turner so far. It's 12 am and I'm still going. Anna's chapters toward each end is becoming a bit irritating, comes of academic and almost like a self appointed psych major, Olivias are more no holds barred matter of fact. Am enjoying both women's chapters so far and the book has actually been a bit triggering for me. Things coming up didn't realise I could easily understand on a personal lev

smart writing for the concept. like to see some direct lines in it that the film kept, however actually pretty vile dialogue at times :/ kind of off putting personally but it's partial point and loving the nuggets of philiosophy

Goodness this is BAD and SO SO SELF INDULGENT. I thought it would be a great easy read, a gossipy tell all memoir, but she cries on and on with no self respect of a broken heart and 'why me?' and CONSTANTLY RELATES EVERYTHING BACK TO WINE AND FASHION- My poor brain, I wanted 2 read this as a relief from a lot of the heavier material I read. - :/ I feel dumber. lol.

Incredible book so far. So packed with detail, psychological and actual. I'm finding it a really in depth case study on borderline (highlighting bpd behaviours, ideas and responses among her stream of thought and word.) I have always felt for Aileen and it's interesting to read first hand her memories. I must admit that the sheer amount of abuse and diversity - is staggering, upsetting and heartbreaking. Poor woman.

I'm on board with the fundamentals of #rosearmy HOWEVER in these first 36pgs she has a hard time staying focused, structured and quite frankly, spews her hatred of everything from god to man. FEELS MORE LIKE A PSYCHOLOGICAL STUDY (Of Rose) THAN ANYTHING - :(

much more clinical a read than I'd thought or than I like. author goes between dialogue and verse without flow. part one all about Andrew 220 long pages.

Feels like a big book as it doesn't always flow. I often have found myself re-reading paragraphs just to understand and confirm who she is quoting or talking about in the following paragraphs. Part 1 is huge, (still on) 2 small (the murders) 3 medium (aftermath) Roll on book , ready for ACS: S2 : The assassination of Giani Versace 9ep series.

Good start, up &a down, his parents appalling, case study on Andrew very interesting, not sure if characterisation. Is 100% true as lots associates 'denied association'
Ch 9:crystal -dragged & carried on
Some language used doesn't feel like it flows
