Good progress was made during the flight and I’m feeling much better about finishing it before Christmas in time to regift :) It’s a great book I just read so SLOW in Swedish

Everything I’ve heard about this book is so true, it is SO GOOD

Extra perk of subletting: unlimited access to someone else’s library. Really needed something new today and this was nice! Good to read in English again, finally something lighter

So I won’t be churning out any fun reviews at a normal pace any time soon—it’s sloww going over here. I like the book! And the level of Swedish is pretty good, but still not as easy as the last one so it’s taking me a while to adapt. But it’s a very good book to learn from and a fun read so I probably will continue through the series i.e. I’ll spend the foreseeable future reading at a snails’s pace

Earlier this summer I stumbled upon a little book sale and got this book and an ice cream for $4 and that was a lovely surprise cause I quite like it!

This book is so weird and graphic

So at first I didn’t like the book because I couldn’t keep track of the characters and timeline so I kept getting super confused but then I realized it was my own damn fault for not slowing down a bit and trying to remember who the characters are. So I actually read the synopsis for once and that helped and now I like the book more :) also the prose is great

I am not a speedy Swedish reader this is gonna take a min 🥱 it’s good tho I always love a backman novel
