This book is going to make me really emotional. I can feel it.

Again, an interesting plot with characters who are uninteresting and kind of blend into each other. Hutch has short hair, Maggie is a genius, and maybe Asian. The guy from Maine died, and Hutch likes George. That kinda seems like the depth of these characters. If you're going to have such dull characters, let's not spend so much time on them.

This book will occasionally cut the tension by providing a heartwarming scene where love and friendship prevails. But I feel as if Brown is just pushing the knife in deeper before he starts twisting it.

Okay so this book does this thing where something will be significant to a character, but you don't know till later. Instead of an omniscient narrator, or being really in the head of one character you are kinda like a 3rd person who sometimes hears the thoughts of others.

I've been thinking about this book. I feel like it almost kind of reads like a movie. A cheesy 80's movie but that is kinda fun. While the concept is really interesting, the writing doesn't always give you a lot of room to guess on your own. And some of the writing seems more focused on characters and politics that aren't as interesting as the mystery to be solved.

Oh yeah now we're getting somewhere

Like the last one, once I got started I can not put it down.

I decided I was too excited to wait till I finished my current book. I've read about 70 pages today easy.

I was worried the funeral would DRAG ON. But literally it was a half page. The plots thickens. I am feeling better about the story at this point. We shall see.

Maybe I'm just too excited about the other books on my list, maybe I read spoilers by accident. But I'm about half way through the book, and I just want to know the answer to the mystery. It doesn't feel like it's building very well. Maybe it will build then explode in an awesome ending but we will see.

Castle of the Lotus Eaters? We will see

It got pretty quick to the first hook, I'm really interested to see where it goes. I really like that news headlines at the end of each chapter. That really helps add some environmental story telling that doesn't have to be exposition.

Super cool

I hate that this book is kicking me to the curb on such a sad note.
