Clouds, and fog, and inversions oh my!

Finished Part 1, and wow… I’m invested. I’m sad for Ellen and Jack and really want to know Ellen’s backstory. As for the rest of the characters, Tom and Phillip are both in a pretty good spot, and I’m waiting to hear more from Aliena and William since I feel like there’s more to come with them.

Phillip is such a good leader like damn.

I can’t even imagine being a women in the 1100s cause even the nice men are just a little disgusting.

I am INTRIGUED!! So far we’ve focused on Tom the Builder and Phillip the Prior and I am super invested in both their stories.

I’m intrigued.

Part 3… wow. Putting me through every emotion.

This section of the book had so much action and so much heartbreak. The book is hard to put down and walk away.

The boys are growing up.

Remember all that world and character building we did in part 1 and for the first half of part 2 I was wondering if we were ever going to refer back to it… WELL ITS HERE. My jaw was on the floor from about chapter 6 on.

What a traumatic day for Sunja.

I am learning so much about what was going on in Korea and Japan in the 1930s. This book is so eye opening.

I feel bad for Sunja.

Don’t want to spoil anything cause Abby is reading this at the same time, but it’s been pretty entertaining so far!! The main character’s parents are incredibly nice and hardworking people making me nervous cause I want the family to not face problems and things look like they’re about to take a turn.

Edward and Bella are made for each other. Like so theatrical at all times.

Bella decides to go cliff jumping in the most dangerous place she could possible think of only to… whoopsies, get stuck under dangerous waves and then just accept death. Luckily Jacob saves her but like BELLA STOP. She’s an infuriating main character. Jacob deserves better.

Now Jacob won’t talk to Bella either… she really needs to talk to other people besides men.

Bella… a pick me girl at its finest. She’s literally learning how to ride a motorcycle so that Edward will speak to her in her mind.

Bella finally started doing things again after months of waiting for Edward to return and suddenly she’s happy… SHOCKING (that was sarcasm by the way).

A review from Petrified Forest National Park: “Basically a desert with some dead trees.” Like why do these people even go to these places?

How can Antonia not see through Ambrosio. Like is she really that pure?

The monk is literally such a terrible person. It’s like an alpha male that became a monk and now he’s finally showing his true colors.

Still baffles my mind sometimes that I share hiking trails with the people leaving these reviews.

I hope Agnes is ok.

What a story. This man would do anything for Agnes. 🥲
