So the bishop and Hamleigh family are aligned… but prior phillip is prepared!! Absolutely love that guy. He’s so smart and him and Tom are a dynamic duo. On to Part 3.

There are some 10/10 characters in this book. This is the first book in a while that I’m having a hard time putting the book down cause I’m so entertained.

Finished Part 1, and wow… I’m invested. I’m sad for Ellen and Jack and really want to know Ellen’s backstory. As for the rest of the characters, Tom and Phillip are both in a pretty good spot, and I’m waiting to hear more from Aliena and William since I feel like there’s more to come with them.

Phillip is such a good leader like damn.

I can’t even imagine being a women in the 1100s cause even the nice men are just a little disgusting.

I am INTRIGUED!! So far we’ve focused on Tom the Builder and Phillip the Prior and I am super invested in both their stories.

I’m intrigued.
