It's gonna take me a loooong time to finish this book and I will come back to it again and again. I just wanna say: so far, it has helped me a lot. The explanations make sense and don't feed my ROCD. Therapy and this book used together are great tools!

Rereading one of my favorites with my bf 💖

I have literally just started reading and I'm already about to make this book my whole personality.

DWJ's writing style is humorous and fun, but this one is definitely not as good as Howl's Moving Castle

Almost halfway into this book I have absolutely no idea what it's even about. Written very well from a juvenile perspective. The main character seems a bit odd but not unlikable.

So far, so useful. I'm highlighting things and taking notes, since I don't know anything about finances. I have money anxiety and this seems to clear things up

I think this is the kind of YA that I'm too old for, lol
It's okay so far but the characters feel so unnatural and, well, stereotypically YA (not necessarily bad, I sometimes enjoy that!)

So far It's written very nicely, but I'm not dying to continue reading the book if you know what I mean? So far I'd say 3.5 stars

The descriptions transport me into another world, making me kinda homesick and miss Sicily. Olive trees, Mediterranean beaches, the caves and the dry grass, the salty air...
I've also been listening to Lyre music non-stop on Spotify lol

I might be a bit biased because of what this book reminds me of, but I think it's well written and so far I can connect with the characters & the story.

This book doesn't seem to want to eeeend. Happy I'm reading it, though. It's fun enough and it's a definite confirmation that I don't enjoy Tolkien's style

Definitely not enjoying this one as much as the first one. might be because the individual stories are too short? Following the narrative definitely seems harder
