i need to stop reading books about grief and dying but i am so sick in the head

whoever recommended this book to me you’re sick in the head

the most interesting part of the book so far is trying to discern whether sally rooney actually hates women or if she’s trying to teach me to hate men

50 pages in and I've already audibly screamed twice and almost started sobbing once... learning that open marriage is literally my worst fear!!

Not sure if it is the books I've been choosing or an artifact of American purity culture, but the sexual deviancy of the male characters (first in the Murakami I read last year and now in Seventeen) are leaving me ?? wtf is going on in Japan??

I did like Seventeen; I wish the themes could have been expanded upon a little more, but I think that it gave a great background to a very interesting premise overall
