This was a rough one! Goines leads you into a detailed, harsh reality of true heroine addiction in the 1970s. Though some parts of this novel are truly hard to bare, it was an overall chilling and well written story that I couldn’t put down.

Thoroughly enjoyed! When I thought I had it figured out, I had not indeed figured it out. A wonderful thriller indeed!

Whew - loved this one down!

This is one of the best books I have ever read and it’s not even over yet. As a fanatic of Stephen King, this rendition and execution is phenomenal from Tiffany D. Jackson.

Sheeesh, what have I started reading. Very interesting so far.

After the extensive world building, it’s definitely starting to bring more in perspective.
