i was in a reading slump. we’re so back

besides the constant misuse of “lord” and “lady” honorifics, i’m enjoying this.

oh god i’m so gay

you know when you watch movies and you see a scene that provided nothing to the overall story? it didn’t advance the plot, detail character growth, or build the world— it was just filler? that’s what i’m realizing a lot of this book has. the author does a lot of just telling with no rhyme or reason. the street festival for example: we did this and then bought this and then ate this. pointless to the plot.

i’m on the second book of a duet and a main romantic character was introduced with the same name and spelling as my brother. don’t ask me how i’m doing.
