I do like certain chapters of this book but am not a fan of restorative Justice as presented and they had mentioned statistics as evidence but did not offer enough to analyze the stats. This wasn’t my favorite book but I do appreciate how it has pushed me to pay more attention to this underserved population.

So far so good. Her writing to Ellen contains similar thoughts that I’ve had when coming out of a narcissistic relationship being a single mom.

This book has been insightful so far. I’m happy to be reading it even if I were dreading it at first. So far the quote “nobody is immune to life’s trauma and failures” resonates with me. I know that isn’t the exact quote but that is how I remember it and I appreciated it.
