I have been reading the WORST books lately, but this one is pulling me out of a reading funk! I really enjoy the interactions between the sisters in this and the mystery of what the mother was actually like

Constantly have to have 5 books going at a time for some unfathomable reason. However, worth it to start this one. THIS IS SO GOOD.

The reviews on here seem really mixed so I am interested to see which way I fall, overall, I enjoy it so far, I wish there was a little more explanation so far as to the rules of what happens when the veil falls before it actually happened

Second chance romance books have grown on me, and I really enjoy the premise of this one so far!

This book gives me huge Yellowface by R. F. Kuang vibes. I really really love this so far!

True friends to lovers! This was great! I love that it wasn’t insta love either… well maybe for like 2 seconds but then it is extinguished. It really felt like these two characters were able to grow together and truly understand each other like no one else. This made me feel so warm inside while also appreciating that grief can often feel all consuming.

One of my favorite reads so far this year. Begging for a happy ending, but I think that’s too optimistic.

Half way through and I just know this book is going to destroy me by the end.

Just hate reading at this point. The main character? Annoying. The world building? Terrible. It is unclear what the hell is going on. Her powers? Completely not flushed out. The whole thing is a hot mess. I will be seeing this one through but will be swiftly abandoning this series after.

More than a 1/3 way through this book and it is unclear what is happening on about… every single level. Not entirely sure why everyone raved about this one, but I’ll see it through.

Alright alright. I’m back again. I actually am enjoying this more than her other books so far.

I am thoroughly enjoying this, I really adore the writing and the humor in this is top tier.

Alright I’m going to be driving a lot in the next couple days and someone said an alien romance got them out of a reading slump. Say less. This is definitely?? Not something I have read before?? So we will see how this goes. Also covers like this are so painful, there’s really no illustration you can pick besides a dude’s torso?

I remember seeing this on the shelves of bookstores when I was a teen, and I’ve finally come around to picking it up, and it’s surprisingly??? Really good?

Crazy lady trapping someone in her house… unhealthy obsession with babies… MISERY is calling!!

I think some people who reviewed this didn’t read that it is a satire. This is hysterical, the dress? The obnoxious amount of children? So funny.

I love the concept of this book and the fact that our POV is the young girl, but as someone who does not have a child nor is around children, I stillllll do not feel like this is how adults talk to children. Unclear. Overall, I like the vibe so far, the dialogue so far has felt a little inauthentic.

I’m only 7 pages in and I’ve already laughed like three times. I can already tell this is something so weird and special.
