Honestly been pleasantly suprising so far. Prose isn't perfect or revolutionary but it fits the story well and is quite easy to follow. Enjoying myself atm.

Such a good start. Love the mc and I love books like this that were written in that American golden age. There's just a charm to American life back then man, it's one of the reasons I love noir so much. Very interesting premise too, such a great idea for its time. Sneaky 5???
