I normally wouldn’t have picked this book out, but it will fulfill the Goodreads challenge for “Tale Spinners” — books adapted from/based on classics. I am a huge ‘Pride and Prejudice’ fan… so this modern day twist seems promising!

This is cute and sweet so far; and I’m definitely willing to overlook the obvious plot holes (in the name of Christmas spirit 😉) !

Okay I was JUST saying this book is so dull and I don’t know if I’m going to make it through… and then!!!!!! It got insane! I am 1000% interested now and couldn’t put it down. This is definitely not dull and I’m hooked!

Half bored… half intrigued. I will finish because it tears my soul out to DNF any book, but this is not as exciting or fast paced as I was led to believe!!’

I’m trudging through this book even though I am so bored and I kind of hate it… I don’t think I’ve ever read a rom com this slowly before. But these characters all suck and nothing is believable.

Fictional president involved, but they mentioned the January 6th attacks on the capital, how interesting!
