I'm trying my best to finish this but it is really dragging on. I'm listening and I think the audiobook narrator's choices in tone are off-putting. Also, the FMC is so elitist and a bit insufferable. I get why she is the way she is in some ways but I mostly find her to be a total snob.

This story is fantastic but the main character is pissing me off. I keep switching to various apps every time my blood pressure goes up because she is a bird.

I think I'm too old and cynical for this novel. I am sure I would've appreciated reading it 10 years ago. The main character is very neurotic and the writing style makes me feel trapped in his constant spiraling.

How has this book made such a cute premise so dull?

Meh

I Vivi and Luke could've been aged down with the way that they bicker. Some of the character actions and dialogues make me question the author's views on feminism, internalized misogyny, and reproductive rights.

It's alright so far but I'm out of time on Libby.. I'll pick back up on Ch 15 in....19 weeks.

About to DNF

The way that 13 year old girls are described in this book is mad weird. I know that there are lots of creeps that view them that way but it just seems icky. I feel sick to my stomach for every out of pocket sexual description.

This book is hyped so much...but I just am not connecting to the characters at all. It is kind of boring somehow despite so many crazy things happening.

I can't figure out why these women are "friends". They're more like work friends...
